The flare on the pistol is a better choice in the darker caves as are the knock down slugs on the shotty, stun the cave dwellers and melee kill that way. Shotgun ammo is always in short supply due to size n weight in most other games as well as Shadow. It's really unfortunate that they royally f'd combat and didn't build on any of the previoius mechanics. What was the difference? The enemies actually reacted to be shot in some sort of meaningful way, thereby giving your weapons some type of weight.Įven look at the way that Lara dies when she is shot - she almost does a twirl that has no basis in the way that she was killed. How do you craft ammo You can't craft regular ammo in shadow but you can craft more specialized ammo by unlocking certain skills in the scavenger tree.
Compare this type of combat to uncharted 4 or even DOOM. I draw my gun and hit r2 but nothing happens. Check that mark on the gun you want to carry, instead.
